Error 500 when creating a local repository in Git

Symptoms

• When creating a local Git repository, Plesk displays a an error message 

PLESK_ERROR: 500 Internal Server Error

• The repository is created successfully.

Cause

Issue in Git extension fixed in EXTPLESK-13551. The error does not prevent the repository from being created successfully.

Resolution

The issue has been fixed in Git extension 2.5.9 available starting with Plesk Obsidian 18.0.79

Update Plesk to the latest version.

If updating is not currently possible, you can use the following workaround:

1. Click Cancel to dismiss the error message.
2. Refresh the page.
