Question

How to update Plesk Obsidian to the latest version?

Answer

Note: During the update operation:
    - Plesk may not be accessible for several minutes
    - Websites will stay online

Note: Plesk Installer uses port 8447. If this port is filtered by firewall and cannot be opened for some reason, refer to the command-line instructions below.

 

Plesk interface
  1. Log in to Plesk.

  2. Go to Tools & Settings and click Updates.



     

  3. On the Updates page, click Install or Update Product:



     

  4. Click Continue on the Install or Update Product page to start Plesk update.



     

  5.  When the update process is finished, the following message will appear:


     
Command-line interface
  1. Connect to a Plesk server via SSH (Linux) / RDP (Windows Server).

  2. Start the update by executing the following command:

    Note: On Windows Server, start a command prompt as an Administrator.

    MYSQL_LIN: plesk installer --select-release-latest --upgrade-installed-components

    Rien ne fonctionne ! Impossible de créer un ticket car mon serveur n'est pas updaté mais... impossible d'updater le serveur... On tourne en rond !

    Je suis très déçu par le support Plesk et cherche une alternative.

    Kuzma Ivanov There is no new version detected and it is impossible to update. My Plesk Obsidian version is 18.0.52.

    did not solve my problem, I do receive a "internal error" in mongo data base and mty server is supposed to be up to date

    Hello, I need support to update my Plesk, as there are several packages without updating.

    I accessed >> tools and settings >> Plesk >> updates, it opens the updates page but a message "There are no products for your operating system
    ( 'Ubuntu' 'Linux' '16.04' 'x86_64' ) available
    from the selected source."

    I have debian 10 and plesk obsidian Web Pro Edition Version 18.0.71 Mise à jour n° 2.

    When plesk update to 18.0.72 Some errors occurred during installation.

    estimados, hice la actualización y actualmente cuento con la versión Plesk Obsidian 18.0.77, actualización 2 Web Host EditionPlesk Obsidian 18.0.77, actualización 2
    Web Host Edition´, sin embargo al tratar de tener soporte me sigue diciendo que para ello debe tener una versión superior a la 18.0.66 lo cual ya es así, favor indicar que puedo realizar ya que necesito levantar un caso por un problema que se me esta presentando.
