Cause
The repository authorization token saved on the server is rejected by the TuxCare ELS PHP repository. apt cannot download the package lists from it, so the TuxCare ELS PHP packages have no installation candidate.
Resolution
- Connect to the server via SSH.
-
Re-register the server with the TuxCare ELS PHP repositories:
# plesk ext tuxcare-php --enable
-
Make sure the
alt-php-elsrepository is now accessible:# apt-get update 2>&1 | grep alt-php-els
CONFIG_TEXT: Hit:20 https://repo.alt.tuxcare.com/alt-php-els/deb/ubuntu/22.04/stable jammy InRelease
- Log into Plesk and go to Extensions > My Extensions > TuxCare Extended Lifecycle Support for PHP, then click Install next to the required PHP version.
-
Alternatively, you can also install the PHP versions from the command line:
Note: Replace 7.3 with the required PHP version.
# plesk ext tuxcare-php --install-configure -version 7.3
Note: If the command in step 2 fails with a CLN error such as "No token was returned from CLN" or "You can not register a new server", contact TuxCare support.
