Upcoming Changes to Authentication in KA and Partner Central

Overview

A new mechanism appears in the KA and Partner Central interfaces to link your KA and Partner Central accounts with your WebPros Account. This change is part of our migration to a unified authentication system, aiming to improve security and user experience.

Authentication Workflow

Logging in Directly via WebPros Account

  • You choose to log in using the "Login via WebPros Account" option.

  • After successful passing WebPros Account. You will be redirected back and the system will then ask you to enter your KA credentials.

  • After this, your accounts will be linked, and you can continue working as usual.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The article is confusing to say the least.

I already have a KA account for managing my Plesk Licenses.

    - What is a WebPros Account ?
    - Do I already have one of those ? How can I find out if I do ?
    - Do I NEED to have a WebPros Account in order NOT to lose access to my Plesk Licenses Management page ?
    - If yes, by which date do I have to have the WebPros Account, and by which date do I have to Link it to the KA ?

  • This is another big issue. Used our partner KA login information on that WebPros login and ofcourse it does not work. This will become another major issue with Plesk. Just like the excessive yearly price increase for Plesk licenses.

  • It's 15th of October and I cannot connect KA/Plesk Partner stuff. But this was expected ofcourse. Probably we have to pay a higher fee first before it comes active? Yes?

  • Still doesn't work with our KA / Plesk Partner office account. Guess we do not pay enough yet to use our accounts on WebPros…

  • I clicked on the link and above icon WEBPROS appeared , does that mean that it was successfull.

Do I have to check something additionally, and will the link for accessing central plesk remain the same?

    Thank you
