Monitoring widget on Plesk server's home page does not detect hardware changes

Symptoms

  • After a server hardware change, Monitoring widget shows wrong (old) RAM capacity.
  • The issue is not resolved if plesk ext monitoring --installation --detect-hardware-changes is executed.

Cause

Bug confirmed EXTPLESK-7999. 

Resolution

Until bug is fixed, use the following workaround:

  1. Connect to the server via SSH

  2. Delete the Monitoring cache folder:

    # rm -rf /usr/local/psa/var/modules/monitoring/cache

    Bug confirmed EXTPLESK-7999. A fix will be deployed within the next 2.9.x Monitoring release.

    This bug remains in monitoring 2.10.1

    Peter Sørensen the bugfix hasn't been implemented yet, but the workaround still stands and should work. If the workaround still doesn't work, please submit a ticket and we'll check with care: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
