Monitoring widget on Plesk server's home page does not detect hardware changes

Symptoms

  • After a server hardware change, Monitoring widget shows wrong (old) RAM capacity.
  • The issue is not resolved if plesk ext monitoring --installation --detect-hardware-changes is executed.

Cause

Bug confirmed EXTPLESK-7999. 

Resolution

Until bug is fixed, use the following workaround:

  1. Connect to the server via SSH

  2. Delete the Monitoring cache folder:

    # rm -rf /usr/local/psa/var/modules/monitoring/cache

    Bug confirmed EXTPLESK-7999. A fix will be deployed within the next 2.9.x Monitoring release.

    This bug remains in monitoring 2.10.1
