Symptoms
- When the product license is about to expire, the following error is shown upon login to Plesk:
PLESK_WARN: You are currently operating within the grace period of your product license. To update your product license, select the Retrieve Keys option on the License Information page.
- When the product license already expired Plesk interface is not avaliable with below message:
PLESK_ERROR: Your license key has expired. In order to use Plesk, obtain and install a new valid license key.

On attempt to renew the license under Tools & Settings > License management > Renew the following message is shown:
PLESK_WARN: Cannot update license key: License key is not prolongated yet
Resolution

First, try to retrieve your product license: Login to Plesk > Tools & Settings > License Management > Retrieve Keys.
- If Retrieve Keys option did not help, check if your license has been paid for renewal.

Login to Platfrom 360 > click Licenses > find the license in question > check the next billing date.

If it is in the past, the license is not paid. Look for email notification regarding unpaid order from Cleverbridge AG to the email address used for the license purchase. In order to process the payment follow the instructions from this email.
- Alternatively update payment method in Platform 360.
