What to do if the included Plesk license was not created during cloud instance deployment from a marketplace (AWS, Google etc.)?

Answer

There are 2 main types of cloud instances with Plesk

1. Instances that already include Plesk licenses – you pay for the instance and the license based on the hourly rates indicated for the instance.

2. Instances that do not include Plesk licenses – such instances are named “Bring Your Own License" (BYOL).

If license from the type 1 (included Plesk license) was not created automatically - submit a request to the Plesk sales and licensing team and include the following details:

1) The IP address of the instance

2) A screenshot from your cloud provider account that shows the instance type. The team uses it to confirm that the instance type comes with an included Plesk license.
