Can't install Laravel skeleton on Plesk domain: Class "Laravel\Pail\PailServiceProvider" not found

Symptoms

Trying to install the Laravel skeleton on a Plesk domain fails with the following error:

Script @php artisan config:clear handling the post-autoload-dump event returned with error code 1 
In Application.php line 960: 
Class "Laravel\Pail\PailServiceProvider" not found

Cause

Laravel Toolkit bug with ID EXTPLESK-9187 which has been fixed in more recent versions of the extension.

Resolution

Update the extension
