Plesk Obsidian for Linux Plesk Obsidian for Windows

Question

How to disable "Hire a developer" link for WordPress instances in Plesk WP Toolkit?

Answer

  1. Connect to a Plesk server via SSH.

  2. Using vi (or other editor) open the /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/panel.ini file, and add the following content into it:

    CONFIG_TEXT: [ext-wp-toolkit]
    hireDeveloperFeature = false

Note: this instruction is only applicable to WP Toolkit on Plesk, and not applicable to WHM/cPanel implementations

  • The have done that for domains and SSH certs as well.  Why not enable a way to link that back to our sites?

  • For real, that should not exist… I find this not amusing, that you make advertisement to my customers. I already pay for several Plesk licenses, that should be enough…

  • Any update on that ? On Plesk Obsidian 18.0.67 Update #3 it doesnt seems to work ! As I know, we pay for the licence of the software and trying to sell third party service is a shame and shoudl be allowed !
