Question
- How to install Imunify after purchasing it from the Extensions page on a Plesk server?
- How can I install Imunify on a Plesk server?
Answer
Since you have purchased an Imunify license from your Plesk panel, it is tied to your main Plesk license.
In order to retrieve the license you have for Imunify, you should follow these steps:
1. Log into Plesk
2. Go to Tools & Settings > License Information
3. Click Retrieve Keys
This will allow your Plesk instance to retrieve the keys for Imunify that you have purchased.
The steps to retrieve keys are also available on the following page of the Plesk Obsidian documentation:
Plesk Licensing | Plesk Obsidian documentation
Once the keys are retrieved, they will be visible in Plesk > Tools & Settings > License Information > Additional License Keys
When this happens, you should install Imunify by following these steps:
1. Go to Plesk > Extensions from the left panel, then search for and choose Imunify in the search box.
2. To begin the installation, click the Get for Free button (installation will take couple of minutes).
3. Plesk will attempt to activate the Imunify on the server at the completion of the installation automatically.
Click on a section to expand
In case the activation does not succeed automatically, you will see a page that it is not licensed, because the license key has not yet been activated successfully.
To attempt the activation again, you should do the following:
1. Log into your server via SSH as the root user
2. Execute the steps that are mentioned in the following official Imunify article:
How to activate the Imunify360 license?
After this, return to your Plesk GUI and you should be able to press on Imunify on the left side panel, which will take you to the management screen for Imunify.
