WP Toolkit can not list plugins: Something went wrong. Cannot read properties of null (reading 'map')

kb: bug Plesk for Linux ext: wptk

Symptoms

  • WordPress > Plugins tab can not be opened in Plesk with:

    PLESK_ERROR: Something went wrong.
Cannot read properties of null (reading 'map')

  • The following error can be found in the /var/log/plesk/panel.log file:

CONFIG_TEXT: ERR [extension/wp-toolkit] Plugin 'layerslider' not found on 'Example'

  • While reviewing plugin directories for the affected domain, the plugin's name from the above error is found to have uppercase letters:

    drwxr-xr-x 13 jdoe psacln 4096 Mar 22 2019 LayerSlider

Cause

    Fixed in:

Resolution

Please consider updating the WP Toolkit extension:

If for any reason the extension update is not possible apply this workaround:
  1. Connect to the server via SSH
  2. Replace the /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/modules/wp-toolkit/library/Db/Row/Instance.php file on the server with the one attached.

Note: For this workaround to work WP Toolkit version needs to be 6.2.9-7551 under Extensions > My Extensions > WP Toolkit.
