Plesk for Linux
kb: technical
Applicable to:
- Plesk for Linux
Symptoms
- WP-based website has an error in the logs:
CONFIG_TEXT: Fatal error: Uncaught RedisException: Connection refused in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/wp-content/object-cache.php:726
- WP instance URL can point to an incorrect domain, Plesk > WordPress > example.com > three dots in the right corner > Update site URL does not fix it
- WordPress installation is shown as broken in WordPress > example.com
- There was an attempt to install Redis_Cache either via the WordPress admin console or WP Toolkit
Any attempt to restore the site from the previous backup completes, but shows the same error in the restore log file
Cause
Redis cache is currently not supported by Plesk, and therefore, it is also not supported by the WP Toolkit in Plesk.
If you would like to see this feature in future versions of Plesk, please take part in our product improvement by submitting a feature request here.
Resolution
