How to change the license from 'VPS' to 'Dedicated' platform?

Plesk 360

Question

  • Is it possible to change the platform of a Plesk license from 'VPS' to 'Dedicated'?
  • I purchased the wrong license key - 'VPS'. Can it be switched to 'Dedicated'?

In case any assistance is required, please contact licensing team via chat in Plesk 360 or through the form Plesk licensing and purchase support.

On the contrary, it is not possible to change server platform from Dedicated to VPS for an existing license.

  • Hello Patrick Morency Thanks for taking the time to share the feedback.

You're right that instructions are easier to follow when you can act on them directly, so I've added links to the article where possible. As for the Upgrade button: it has to be clicked from your own account, since each Upgrade button is tied to the specific license. We can point you to it, but the action itself has to happen on your side.

    Thanks again for the input.
