Plesk PHP Composer extension command fails with: Call to undefined function PleskExt\Composer\Cli\create_function()

Symptoms

  • The CLI PHP Composer extension command below fails with an error:

    # plesk ext composer --application -list
    Call to undefined function PleskExt\Composer\Cli\create_function()

Cause

Plesk PHP Composer extension bug with ID #EXTPHPCOMP-249 which will be fixed in future extension updates.

Workaround

Until the bug is fixed as a workaround:

  1. Log into Plesk

  2. Find the applications list at Domains > example.com > PHP Composer

    If we need to use plesk ext composer command, that's coz the composer extension still has issues to find composer.json in subdirectories of websites.

    So thanks for your article but using Plesk composer extension UI does not help at all
