How to set up Microsoft OneDrive or Google Drive remote storages for server-wide backups in Plesk?

Answer

Solution for Microsoft OneDrive 
  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Install Microsoft OneDrive Backup extension by pressing Get It Free button in Plesk > Extensions > Extensions Catalog > Categories > Backup > Microsoft OneDrive Backup page.
  3. Then go to Tools & Settings > Backup Manager > Remote Storage Settings > Microsoft OneDrive Backup.
  4. Specify credentials from Microsoft account and press the Next button:

  5. When the following window appear, press on the generated link as on the screenshot below:

  6. Specify name of the backup directory and press the OK button to apply the changes:

  7. To configure remote storage for scheduled backups, go to Plesk > Tools & Settings > Backup Manager > Schedule> Store in, select one of the option below and press the OK button:
    • Microsoft OneDrive
    • Both server storage and Microsoft OneDrive 

    Note: the same options can be chosen while the manual backup creation in Plesk > Tools & Settings > Backup Manager > Back Up.

Solution for Google Drive
  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Install Google Drive Backup extension by pressing Get It Free button in Plesk > Extensions > Extensions Catalog > Categories > Backup > Google Drive Backup page.
  3. Then go to Tools & Settings > Backup Manager > Remote Storage Settings > Google Drive Backup.
  4. Select one of the options below and press the OK button to continue:

  5. Specify credentials from Google account and press the Next button:

  7. Specify name of the backup directory and press the OK button to apply the changes:

    • Google Drive
    • Both server storage and Google Drive
