Question

How to view/change a password for the admin dashboard of the WordPress instance via the Plesk WP Toolkit extension?

Answer

For Plesk Onyx 17.8 and newer
  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Go to Domains > example.com > WordPress and press on the [setup] button:

  3. To change the current password: 
    Specify a new password into the New Password field and press the Change button.

    To see the current password:
    Press on the highlighted button as shown on the screenshot below:

For Plesk Onyx 17.0 and 17.5
  1. Log into Plesk.

  2. Go to Domains > example.com > WordPress_instance_name.

  3. Press the [change login settings] button:

  4. In the next appeared window press the Show button to see the current password or [change] button to edit it:

  5. After pressing of [change] button specify a new password and press the OK button to apply the changes.
