Imunify360 extension in Plesk shows the error: License is invalid for this server

Symptoms

Accessing the Imunify360 extension in Plesk results in the following error despite the fact the valid license is installed on the server:

PLESK_ERROR: Warning
License is invalid for this server

Cause

The extension installation is corrupted.

Resolution

  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Go to Extensions > My Extensions and reinstall the Imunify360 extension.
  3. Go to Tools & Settings > License Management.
  4. Click on the Retrieve Keys button.
Command-line solution
  1. Connect to the Plesk server via SSH.

  2. Reinstall the Imunify360 extension via the two commands below:

    # plesk bin extension -u imunify360
    # plesk bin extension -i imunify360

    Note: If the installation reports dpkg errors, execute the following command and reinstall the extension again:

    # dpkg --configure -a

  3. Retrieve the license keys:

    # plesk bin license --retrieve
