WordPress website from Plesk is not accessible due to the incorrect website URL

Symptoms

  • Unable to access WordPress website with the following error message:

    CONFIG_TEXT: 504 Gateway Time-out
    nginx

  • WordPress website example.com redirects to https://example.com/.trash URL.

Cause

Incorrect siteurl is stored in the database.

Resolution

  1. Log into Plesk.

  2. Change site URL to https://example.com at WordPress > example.com > Update Site URL page:
    2.jpg
