Question

European Accessibility Act came into force on June 28, 2025. How Plesk plans to address it?

Answer

Over the past year, Plesk has completed a large-scale update of its interface with a strong focus on accessibility. These improvements bring the product significantly closer to meeting the expectations of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the WCAG 2.1 guidelines. Key changes include:

  • Updates to approximately 200 of the most frequently used pages across the Plesk interface and its most popular extensions
  • Improved compatibility with screen readers, including VoiceOver
  • Enhanced keyboard navigation across interactive elements
  • Clear and consistent focus indicators
  • Support for interface scaling up to 200%

What this means for customers:

  • Reduced compliance risk: The Plesk environment is now significantly closer to meeting EAA accessibility requirements, helping customers prepare ahead of regulatory deadlines
  • Improved usability: Users who rely on assistive technologies, such as screen readers or keyboard-only navigation, can now use Plesk more reliably and independently
