Unable to change subscriber: Unable to continue subscription transfer: this subscription requires more resources than can be provided by the new owner's provider

Symptoms

• Unable to change the subscriber for example.com from Johndoe to Johndoe1:

  Unable to continue subscription transfer: this subscription requires more resources than can be provided by the new owner's provider

• Johndoe1 is a customer that belongs to Reseller Johndoe.

Cause

Resellers > Johndoe > Customize > Overselling policy is set to not allowed.
The resource constraints imposed by disabling overselling prevent the transfer from going forward.

Resolution

Enable overselling to relax those constraints, allowing the transfer to proceed successfully despite the new reseller’s lower actual resource allocation:

1. Log into Plesk
2. Go to Resellers > Johndoe > Customize > Overselling policy and allow overselling
3. Click Update & Lock
