How to copy a MySQL/MariaDB database in Plesk?

Answer

  1. Log in to Plesk

  2. Go to Domains > example.com > Databases

  3. Find the required database and click Copy:



  4. Select the destination database: copy into a new database or existing database

  5. Click OK

    It would be nice if it was described what exactly the function does and it is strange that 50% is displayed immediately at the start and then nothing happens for a very long time. The e-mail notification should contain the duration of how long the whole process took.
