Question

How to use the website preview function in Plesk for website testing?
How to preview a website in Plesk before changing the nameservers?
How to test a website in Plesk, before putting it into production?

Answer

1. Log into Plesk (on the destination server)

2. Go to Domains > example.com

3. Hover over the image of the domain and press the Preview button

This will open a new browser tab and will display the website via a temporary URL that is accessible via your Plesk server's IP address.

I'd recommend including a bit of info about not being able to use Let's Encrypt with the preview URL, so browsers will always show a security warning.
