Old certificate is displayed for domain after changing to a new one via Hosting Settings in Plesk

Symptoms

• After assigning a new certificate under Domains > example.com > Hosting settings and manually restarting the services, the old certificate is still associated with the domain example.com
• There are no entries in logs about reloading of the IIS, Nginx, or Apache services after such changes are applied to Hosting Settings of domain

Cause

Inconsistency of the Plesk Database.

Resolution

1. Log into Plesk
2. Go to Tools & settings > Server Components and click on 'Refresh'
3. Go to Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings, select the certificate and click 'Apply'

4. Repair the domain via the following command (Tools & settings > SSH Terminal):

   # plesk repair web -sslcerts example.com
