Symptoms

• A Plesk to Plesk migration via the Plesk Migrator fails with an error that is similar to the following:

  CONFIG_TEXT: Database user 'johndoe' belongs to database 'example' which is not registered in Plesk, but already exists in Plesk database server, so skip the database user.

Cause

A previous migration was unsuccessful or a database user was created manually on the destination server.

Resolution

1. Log into Plesk on the destination server
2. Go to Subscriptions > example.com > Databases and remove the databases mentioned in the error
3. Press on Finish Migration in the Plesk Migrator
4. Start ta new migration and migrate the same Subscription and database that was previously failing
