Plesk SQL Server / MySQL / MariaDB service fails to start. The following error messages appear in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\Databases\MySQL\data\<hostname>.err
:CONFIG_TEXT: [ERROR] InnoDB: GetDiskFreeSpace(C:\,...) failed - OS error number 5
[ERROR] InnoDB: os_file_get_status() failed on '.\ibdata1'. Can't determine file permissions
Cause
Plesk SQL Server / MySQL / MariaDB system user does not have required file/folder permissions.
Resolution
Repair the disk permissions using Plesk Reconfigurator:

Connect to the Plesk server via RDP.

Start Plesk Reconfigurator at Windows Start > All Programs > Plesk.

In Plesk Reconfigurator, click Correct disk permissions.

Select
C:
drive (or the drive where MySQL databases are located) and click Set. -
Wait for the process to complete.
In case the Plesk Reconfigurator fails with the error below:
