Answer

On Plesk for Linux, both website databases and Plesk databases are using the same database server, due to which changing the location for the MySQL server is not officially supported.

It is however possible to mount a partition from a new disk to the default MySQL data directory location /var/lib/mysql/. Actions tied to partition mounting are considered an administrative task that should be performed on the side of the server administrator.
