Question
How to change the PHP version on all subscriptions(new and existing) under a Service Plan?
Answer
If a plan offers a privilege that makes possible for a subscriber to change a particular resource or service, this resource/service allocation is ignored during a sync. For example, if the plan provides the privilege of PHP settings management and a user changes some PHP setting, its subscription remains synced with the plan (even if a value of the PHP setting in the subscription differs from the corresponding one in the plan).
To change all the PHP handlers under a service plan, It is necessary to remove "PHP version and handler management" permission and then it will be possible to manage all PHP handlers under that service plan.
- Log into Plesk.
- Go to Service Plans > Hosting Plans > Service_Plan_Name > Permissions
- Remove "PHP version and handler management" permission.
- Click at Update & sync buttom below in order to apply changes.
- Go to Service Plans > Hosting Plans > Service_Plan_Name > PHP Settings
- Select the desired PHP version.
- Click at Update & sync buttom below in order to apply changes.
