Question

How to change the PHP version on all subscriptions(new and existing) under a Service Plan?

Answer

If a plan offers a privilege that makes possible for a subscriber to change a particular resource or service, this resource/service allocation is ignored during a sync. For example, if the plan provides the privilege of PHP settings management and a user changes some PHP setting, its subscription remains synced with the plan (even if a value of the PHP setting in the subscription differs from the corresponding one in the plan).

To change all the PHP handlers under a service plan, It is necessary to remove "PHP version and handler management" permission and then it will be possible to manage all PHP handlers under that service plan.

  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Go to Service Plans > Hosting Plans > Service_Plan_Name > Permissions
  3. Remove "PHP version and handler management" permission.
  4. Click at Update & sync buttom below in order to apply changes.
  5. Go to Service Plans > Hosting Plans > Service_Plan_Name > PHP Settings
  6. Select the desired PHP version.
  7. Click at Update & sync buttom below in order to apply changes.
