Too many email notifications: The threshold of Apache & PHP-FPM memory usage has been exceeded

Symptoms

  • Email notifications are received too often with the following message:

    CONFIG_TEXT: The threshold of Apache & PHP-FPM memory usage has been exceeded

  • The Monitoring section shows plenty of free or cached memory available.

Cause

Apache & PHP-FPM threshold is set too low.

Solution

  1. Log into Plesk.
  2. Go to Monitoring > Settings > Thresholds.
  3. Set a higher percentage/size under Apache & PHP-FPM memory usage.
  4. Click Apply.

 

Alternatively Monitoring email notifications can be turned off altogether.
