How to choose a license for a destination Plesk server in case of migration?

Get a trial Plesk license for migration as described in the article:
How to get Plesk Web Host edition trial license for migration -
Install that trial license and start a Plesk migration.

Check if an old Plesk license can be used and/or upgraded, or a new one should be purchased:

If Plesk version 9 or older is installed on the source server, a new license must be purchased.

If Plesk versions are the same on the source and destination servers, the old license can be used.
