How to find the Plesk version?

Answer

In Plesk interface
  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Check the version in the Plesk interface:

    • Go to Tools & Settings > About Plesk and check the Plesk version under the Plesk logo:

    • in Service Provider view:
      1. Go to menu Home.
      2. Check the block Plesk Updates:
        'Plesk Updates' block

        Note: if that block is not shown, click Customize in the top right corner and enable Plesk Updates.

    • in Power User view:
      1. Go to Websites & Domains.
      2. In the right panel, find the widget System Overview and check the field Product:

        Note: it may be necessary to expand the right panel first.

    Note: If the version/build is not visible, contact your hosting provider.

In command-line interface (CLI)
  1. Connect to the server using SSH (for servers with Linux operating systems) or using RDP (for servers with Windows Server).
  2. (Only for servers with Windows Server) Start the command prompt.
  3. Execute the command plesk version or plesk -v:

    # plesk version
    Product version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65.2
    OS version: AlmaLinux 8.10 x86_64
    Build date: 2024/11/22 08:00
    Revision: 738ea4038904b53a068e522aa7c64390f4f29d5f

    C:\> plesk -v
    Product version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.43.1
    OS version: Microsoft Windows Server 2019 x86_64
    Build date: 2022/04/14 18:00
    Revision: 1a6b26fb2fd0ac923f3ca10bdfd13b721cb5c676

    Alternatively, the Plesk version can be found in the file /usr/local/psa/version or %plesk_dir%version on Windows:

    # cat /usr/local/psa/version
    18.0.65 RedHat el8 1800241122.08

In Plesk interface (for old/unsupported Plesk versions - before 18.0.64)
  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. Check the version in the Plesk interface:
    • in Service Provider view:
      1. Go to menu Home.
      2. In the window System Overview, check the field Product:
        servprov.png
    • in Power User view:
      1. Go to Websites & Domains.
      2. In the right panel, find the widget System Overview and check the field Product:
        PUV.png

        Note: it may be necessary to expand the right panel first.
