How to find the Plesk version?

Answer

  1. Log in to Plesk.

  2. Check the version in the Plesk interface:

    • in Service Provider view:

      • in Plesk versions 18.0.64 and newer:

        1. Go to menu Home.

        2. Check the block Plesk Updates:
          'Plesk Updates' block

          Note: if that block is not shown, click Customize in the top right corner and enable Plesk Updates.

      • in Plesk versions before 18.0.64:

        1. Go to menu Home.
        2. In the window System Overview, check the field Product:
          servprov.png
    • in Power User view:

      1. Go to Websites & Domains.
      2. In the right panel, find the widget System Overview and check the field Product:
        PUV.png

    Note: If the version/build is not visible, contact your hosting provider.

Via CLI on Plesk on Linux
  1. Connect to the server using SSH.

  2. Execute the command plesk version or plesk -v:

    # plesk version
    Product version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65.2
    OS version: AlmaLinux 8.10 x86_64
    Build date: 2024/11/22 08:00
    Revision: 738ea4038904b53a068e522aa7c64390f4f29d5f

    Alternatively, the Plesk version can be found in the file /usr/local/psa/version:

    # cat /usr/local/psa/version
    18.0.65 RedHat el8 1800241122.08

Via CLI on Plesk on Windows
  1. Connect to the server using RDP.

  2. Start the command prompt.

  3. Execute the command:

    plesk -v
    Product version: Plesk Obsidian 18.0.43.1
    OS version: Microsoft Windows Server 2019 x86_64
    Build date: 2022/04/14 18:00
    Revision: 1a6b26fb2fd0ac923f3ca10bdfd13b721cb5c676

    Alternatively the Plesk version can be found in the file %plesk_dir%version.
