Subscription becomes suspended without a clear reason with unlimited resources and without expiration date

Plesk for Windows kb: how-to Plesk for Linux ABT: Group A

Applicable to:

  • Plesk for Linux
  • Plesk for Windows

Question

Why a subscription gets suspended or disabled without a clear reason when ...

  • it has unlimited resources or the limits of its resources weren't reached?
  • its expiration date is not set or it has not expired yet?

Answer

Note: The following instructions are only available for Plesk Administrator. In case the options are not available, please contact your service provider.

  1. Log in to Plesk GUI
  2. Going to Tools & Settings > Action Log > Download, the following logs can be seen:

    CONFIG_TEXT: 203.0.113.2 johndoe [2018-02-24 04:31:24] 'Update Domain Status'  ('Domain Name': 'example.com' => 'example.com', 'Status': '0' => '16', 'Extended status of domain': 'active' => 'suspended'...)

    According to the Plesk Action Log, the subscription was suspended manually by johndoe user, which is an additional administrator in the Plesk server:

    • Subscription status 0 stands for "Enabled"
    • Subscription status 16 stands for "Suspended by admin"
