Symptoms

The domain list in Plesk > Domains is empty. The following error may appear:

Internal error ;-P
TypeError: Cannot read property 'escapeHTML' of null
When changing a subscription's plan, the following error appears:

Error code: 2204. Error message: Unable to update hosting preferences. Cause

A database inconsistency caused by orphaned entries.

Resolution

Connect to the server via RDP or SSH
Back up the Plesk database
Run this command and fix the orphaned entries when asked:

# plesk repair db

If plesk repair db shows the following, check https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/13781275582999:

# C:\> plesk repair db -n
