What does mean the warning: the domain example.com does not resolve or resolves to another IP address?

The warning below appears after the creation of the example.com domain in Plesk > Domains > Add domain. What does this warning mean?

PLESK_WARN: The domain example.com does not resolve or resolves to another IP address (203.0.113.2). Please correct DNS settings

Answer

The warning means that domain with the name example.com already exists and globally resolves to another IP address.

Note: in case the domain IP address has been recently changed, it is required just wait until the DNS domain propagation will be completed, no further actions are required.
