In Plesk Interface (Subscriptions > example.com > PHP Settings) some PHP versions are marked as 'outdated'. What does it mean?
Answer
'Outdated' means that the PHP version has reached its End-of-Life.
Refer to the official PHP website for more details.
These versions are still available for installation via Plesk Installer and can be enabled on a website at one's own risk.
There is a workaround for hiding this mark. It can be done by modifying translations for the locale which is currently in use. For example:
/usr/local/psa/admin/application/admin/resources/languages/en-US/components/lists.php: 'phphandlers.handlerOutdated' => '',
/usr/local/psa/admin/application/admin/resources/languages/en-US/components/lists.php: 'phphandlers.handlerOutdatedAndDeprecated' => '',
/usr/local/psa/admin/application/default/resources/languages/en-US/components/forms.php: 'php-settings.phpHandlerOutdated' => '',
/usr/local/psa/admin/application/smb/resources/languages/en-US/components/forms.php: 'web.settings.phpHandlerOutdated' => '',
/usr/local/psa/admin/application/smb/resources/languages/en-US/controllers/web.php: 'view.phpHandlerOutdated' => ''
