Plesk home page shows error: php_admin_value takes two arguments, PHP Value Modifier

Symptoms

  • The following error is shown in Plesk > Home page:

    PLESK_ERROR: New configuration files for the Apache web server were not created due to the errors in configuration templates: Syntax error on line 61 of /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/vhosts/example.com.conf: php_admin_value takes two arguments, PHP Value Modifier

  • The PHP directives have empty values for the domain mentioned in the error in Domains > example.com > PHP Settings:

Cause

The database inconsistency.

Resolution

  1. Log into Plesk

  2. Go to Domains > example.com > PHP Settings.

  3. Press the Reset To Default button in front of any PHP directive that has an empty value:

  4. Scroll down and press the OK button to apply the changes.

  5. Log into the server via SSH.

  6. Execute the command below to regenerate configuration files for example.com domain:

    # plesk repair web example.com
