Symptoms
On a Plesk Obsidian for Windows server, the following message appears in the Windows Event Viewer once an hour:
PLESK_INFO: The status for service pleskstartup (PleskStartup) remains Stopped
Cause
This is expected behavior - the service PleskStartup is used by the cloning feature. This service is running only when a new server that is created from a snapshot of a cloned server is started for the first time. It performs operations that are required to be done after cloning, and then it is stopped and should be in this state all the time.
The message is written to the Windows Event Viewer not by Plesk, but by Windows Server OS itself.
Resolution
This message can be safely ignored as it does not affect anything. The operating system just reports the state of the service, which is expected.
