What Microsoft SQL Server versions are supported by Plesk?
Answer
The following Microsoft SQL Server versions (all editions) are supported by Plesk:
- SQL Server 2022
- SQL Server 2019
- SQL Server 2017
- SQL Server 2016
- SQL Server 2014
- SQL Server 2012
- SQL Server 2008 R2
- SQL Server 2008
- SQL Server 2005
The following Microsoft SQL Server versions can be installed via Plesk Installer (English language):
Note: According to SQL Server 2019 software requirements, SQL Server 2019 can be installed on Windows Server 2016 and greater.
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2022
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2017
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2016
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2014
- Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012

could we add an MSSQL 2022 as an external DB server in Plesk? If not, do you have an estimation as to when it will be supported?

Isn't SQL server 2022 supported as of Plesk Obsidian 18.0.50? It was confirmed in following feature request:
