Unable to create domain alias or subdomain in Plesk: There are no available resources of this type

Instant warning message appears on the attempt to create domain alias/subdomain by pressing Domains > Add Domain Alias/Add Subdomain button:

PLESK_WARN: Warning : There are no available resources of this type (domain alias). Required: 1; available: 0.

There are subscriptions with service plan limits for domain aliases, domains or subdomains and such subcriptions already has exceeded this limit. For example 5 out of 5 domains or domain aliases.

Product issue:

#PPPM-13534 "If Plesk has a subscription with the limit on domain aliases or subdomains set to zero, this no longer prevents the Plesk administrator from creating domain aliases and subdomains in the Plesk interface."

Until the bug is fixed apply the following workaround:

Log into Plesk.
Add domain alias/subdomain via Subscriptions > example.com > Add Domain Alias/Add Subdomain page.
