Symptoms
-
When clicking on the Repair button near the Plesk Installation aspect in Tools & Settings > Diagnose & Repair the following error is displayed:
PLESK_ERROR: 500: Plesk\Expection\Database
PLESK_ERROR: 500: Internal Server Error
PLESK_ERROR: 400: Bad Request
And near the Plesk Installation aspect the message below appears:
CONFIG_TEXT: Could not check the aspect. Please try again later.
-
If refreshing the page in a browser, the repair operation is reported to be running and no errors are displayed.
Cause
During the execution of the plesk repair
command with the installation
aspect, the tool is checking and fixing multiple issues including the MySQL server. Plesk becomes inaccessible at that moment, so the error appears.
Such Repair Kit behavior was confirmed as a Plesk extension bug with ID EXTPLESK-3451. The error message can be safely ignored.
Resolution
Until the bug is fixed as a workaround refresh the Tools & Settings > Diagnose & Repair page in a browser and wait for the process to complete.
-
Connect to the server via SSH/RDP.
Note: Additional step for Plesk for Windows: Start the Command Prompt
-
To diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Plesk run the command below:
# plesk repair installation
