Unable to create domain: A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070520)

Symptoms

• Creating a domain or subdomain fails with the error:

PLESK_ERROR: A specified logon session does not exist. It may already have been terminated. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070520)

• Running plesk repair web -sslcerts does not solve the issue.

Cause

Inconsistency in the 'sessions' table from the Plesk database.

Resolution

1. Login server via RDP

2. In the command prompt line execute the following command to repair the table:

C:\> plesk repair db
