Question

Answer

Since the June 2024, Gmail enables IMAP by default, so it is possible to connect any IMAP-compatible mail client to Gmail account (including Plesk Site Import extension). However, due to Gmail security policies, it is required to either disable 2FA OR create an application password for the client. Then, this application password can be specified in Source password field in Plesk Mail Import.

    With Google workspace the app password will not work to authenticate the account, it simply says username or password not correct. 

    This means you cannot import from Google accounts any longer until plesk mail import utility supports OAUTH.
