An operation to save a Plesk Backup Remotely into Dropbox fails in with: error_summary: incorrect_offset

Symptoms

• A Plesk Backup set to be uploaded into Remote storage using Dropbox fails with the following error:

  PLESK_ERROR: Unable to create the remote backup: Transport error: Extension transport: ext://dropbox-backup/server/: {"error_summary": "incorrect_offset/..", "error": {".tag": "incorrect_offset", "correct_offset": 47364177920}}

• The situation takes place randomly and by repeating the backup the operation succeeds.

Cause

This is the Plesk extension bug with ID EXTPLESK-2358.

Resolution

Until the bug be fixed, as a workaround consider re-running the backup manually.
