Symptoms

Unable to reconfigure a Plesk hosted website with the error:

[emerg] unknown directive "brotli_comp_level"

Cause

The Nginx brotli plugin is disabled.

Resolution

Connect to the server via SSH
Enable the plugin by running the command:

# plesk bin nginx -e brotli
