Question

Why is only one backup file shown in the Dropbox directory when there are several Dropbox backups in the Plesk interface?

Answer

Dropbox overwrites the same file in the Dropbox directory instead of creating a new file. All previous backups are stored in the Dropbox revisions.

  1. To see revisions, log in to Dropbox
  2. Hover over the name of the backup and click ... (ellipsis)
  3. Select Version history

Plesk Backup Manager will automatically restore the correct revision from the list.
