Question
How to configure mail relaying on a Plesk for Windows server with MailEnable or SmarterMail?
Answer
Starting from Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, mail relaying (Smarthost) can be configured via Plesk interface on Plesk for Windows with either MailEnable or SmarterMail mail servers.
Configuring a smarthost is a server-wide feature. For this feature to be implemented on per domain basis, please vote for the corresponding feature suggestion on our UserVoice portal.
1. Register an account in a mail relay service (SendGrid, Mailgun, Mailjet, etc.).
Note: These services may have a free tier for some of the platform's users. For additional information, refer to the documentation of the service.
2. Log in to Plesk.
3. Go to Tools & Settings > Smarthost (under “Mail”).
4. Enable the option Send users' mail via a smarthost.
5. In corresponding fields, specify the IP address or hostname and port of a smarthost (for example, 192.0.2.1 or smtp.sendgrid.net).
For more detailed steps, please refer to the documentation page Configuring a Smarthost or Relayhost.
