How to install and set up Mailman in Plesk for Linux?
Answer
Note: Mailman is available on the following operating systems:
Mailman 3
- Debian 13, 12, 11, 10
Mailman 2
- Ubuntu 20
- RHEL-based 8 distributions
- RHEL-based 7 distributions
- Log in to Plesk.

Go to Tools & Settings > Updates (under Plesk).
Note: If Plesk Web Installer is not accessible, refer to the command-line instructions.

On the Updates page, click Add/Remove Components.

On the Add/Remove Components page, expand Mail hosting and click Mailman > Install. Click Continue to begin the installation.
- Once the installation completes, go back to Plesk > Tools & Settings > Set Up Mailing Lists Server (under Mail).

Set up the administrator account and click OK.
- Once the administrator account is set up, the Mailing Lists option will appear on domain's Mail tab.

Doesn't work.
Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me as well. The mailman component cannot be selected at all.
Edition comparison doesn't describe any pre-requisite.
Same here, on Alma Linux 9.5 mailman can't be found in the list of Mail Hosting packages. Neither is on the extensions list in the Plesk panel.
so i found this info:
Mailman 2 relies on Python 2, which is deprecated and not included in modern Linux distributions like AlmaLinux 9. This absence means Mailman 2 isn’t available for installation on these systems. While Mailman 3, compatible with Python 3, exists, it isn’t officially supported by Plesk on AlmaLinux 9 due to the lack of operating system support.
