Unable to start migration in Plesk: urlopen error [Errno 10049] The requested address is not valid in its context

Symptoms

• Migration in Plesk fails with the following error in Tools & Settings > Migrator & Transfer Manager > source server:

  PLESK_ERROR: Failed to connect to target Plesk server by Plesk API: <urlopen error [Errno 10049] The requested address is not valid in its context>

• IP address 203.0.113.2 does not exist on the target server:

  C:\> ipconfig | findstr 203.0.113.2
  C:\>

  But exists in Tools & Settings > IP addresses

Cause

The incorrect IP address selected from migration.

Resolution

1. Connect to the server via RDP

2. Open the %plesk_dir%var\modules\panel-migrator\sessions\<SESSION_TIME_STAMP\config file

3. Manually change IP address under the [plesk] section:

   CONFIG_TEXT: [plesk]
   ip = "203.0.113.3"
