Question

How to disable a mailbox in Plesk?

Will the content of mailbox be removed after disabling?

Will mail forwarding still work?

Answer

Log into Plesk
Navigate to Domains > example.com > Email Addresses > mail@example.com
Uncheck the Mailbox option and click on OK

Disabling a mailbox does not affect (remove) its content.
Mail Forwarding rules will still work.

Hello! If I disable a mailbox, will the new incoming messages saved to it? I'd like to prevent user access to mails, but do not lose account contents. (I know, I can change the mailbox password, this is a theoreticallky question. It maybe a temporary situation, and password changing vica-versa is not a beatiful option.)
