Plesk for Windows
Plesk for Linux
kb: technical
ABT: Group A
Applicable to:
- Plesk for Linux
- Plesk for Windows
Symptoms
-
Icons, fonts or images fail to load on a website.
-
The website is trying to load these assets from an external domain, such as
example.com
. -
The Browser Developer Tools console displays errors similar to the following:
CONFIG_TEXT: Access to Font at 'https://example.com/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.woff2' from origin 'https://example.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control -Allow-Origin 'header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://example.com' is therefore not allowed access.
Cause
The external domain doesn't have Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) configured, which is necessary to let other sites load its assets.
Resolution
Configure CORS on the external domain.
